WOW....It only took me about a week to get through this entire thing but this thread is absolutely incredible. It's hard to make Sam's and SOS's home tank look small, but Matt did so with a vengence. Truly blown away by that set up....

I didn't think Limas got more than 18" in the wild. That seems like a stretch to me...Literally and figuratively...necrocanis;1488282; said:The frequently qouted 12"-18" will surely fall in that massive tank. I've seen one at 22" on here, and I am sure your's will break that mark. I've seen pics of them over 28" in the wild.
You could say I wanted different things than management wanted. I am in it for the animals and wanted to focus more attention to making the displays look better, improve animal condition, expand the educational aspect (with correct facts), start into research and more extensive training opertunities for the staff. I got sick of empty promises - same as the Curator prior to me.blacktip;1477980; said:What happened Matt? New job opportunity?
Yeah Dave, Tony and I still communicate back and forth ALOT. I've been down a couple of times. We'll see what happens. Where ever I end up, I'll be with sharks and a great South American display for sure.dmanwarren;1479316; said:Sorry to hear that, next thing I will hear is you will be in Texas with Tony!! Just kidding, good luck.
