looks to be a plakat mate, and a nice one! If you're like me, you'll appreciate its natural ability to swim, unweighed by its fins.

Not to say I don't like the fancy tail types, but on some level there's always some element of guilt watching them struggle to swim

Yeah there was something about this guy i really like, maybe it was the colors or just his personality...

And the finish product till i can decide on what plants i still want to add...

Like those crypts and that is one lucky @ss fish!

Thanks, but unfortunately he didnt last more than 6 months, although at least during that time his life went from living in a small plastic container to the 60G tank...

The tank also went through a major change recently because i couldnt decide what to keep in there after i lost the betta...

Originally planned the tank out for some C.Irubessco, but when that didnt really work out it now houses a hairy puffer (M.Bailey) instead...

This is basically what the tank looks like now, a place for extra bucephalandra trimmings to see what works and what doesnt with basically 0 ferts and low light...

Pity about the fish not making. I like the new hardscape and bet it will great when it slowly fills in.

I really enjoyed having a 0 fert + low light tank.
