lol nightmare spelling mistake

Fish, you can still widen the holes - just pull the gravel away from the silicone with some pliers and tin snips and then use a file or brand new razor blade to cut away at the holes. You should try, cause they look pretty small...

Cool idea!

o god!!! my sides are killing me!!!:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

very cool project btw. Make sure to have sufficient water flow in the pipes though. You do not want the water in them to stagnate.

Thanks but not that easy, the 5 inch pvc is way too thick for a razor blade. and when I pull on any piece of gravel, it needs to be cut away, otherwise it will pull everything. But my plan is for convicts, and the holes still have a 3" diameter as oppose to the 3.5" they had.
But I think I may cut some of them just for bigger fish, But i want the little cons to be able to get away and hide.

I got a Fx5 on a 110g so im hoping the 900GPH will be enough, I may have to put a sponge over the intake to it dont suck up little fry.

Oh and anyone gettin rid of some Cons in VA Beach area?

If any of you do this, remember to use small gravel or sand, because the bir gravel needs waaaaaaayy too much silicon to stick, and pure 100% silicon is the most expensice of all the cock.

+1 Ive done it before and it is a pain in the neck as well as using too much.
