Well, that is pretty cool. What I meant by it's not cool is that you have introduced species in Korea.

Are you going to colour the inside or keep it opaque like that?

You are right, the bass was introduced to Korea in the 1960's and it is still hated by most local fishermen. I was fishing on Thursday and found about 6 or 7 dead bass laying on the bank that were put there by the carp fishermen.

I will apply several coats of 100% epoxy (fish safe) and then apply the final gel coat. The color of the inside will be similar to rED O's tank in this thread.....

It doesn't look like much progress in the photos, but I have been working my butt off to get the fiber glass finished......and I think I am at a stage where I feel happy that it will never leak.

I found several air bubbles under the fiber glass, so yesterday I cut all these out and today I repaired them with several layers of glass and resin.
Then I added an extra layer of glass around both of the window frames to add strength to the weakest part of the build. Then I applied several coats of resin to the whole thing to make 100% certain.

This will be the last update for a few weeks. The time has come to go back overseas for work
As soon as I get back home near the end of July I will be coating the 100% solid epoxy and the gel coat. Then the 12mm (1/2") glass will be going in and then the leak test (which I am getting very nervous about :grinno: ).

:WTF: Sorry But I have yet to see someone say "Hey lets go jump in my B-Truck and go pick up some Lumber!" :grinno:

 If only it had the size... it prob would hold a whale

The only thing that is called a ute in North America is a "Sport Ute" because we need 5000 different names for the types of vehicles we have :screwy: Mind you considering we are talking about the home of the Suburban assault vehicle... doesn't really surprise me :D

LOOOOL!!!!!!! CLASS B TRUCK AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :ROFL:

As for you OP, very nice on the build! cant wait to see it completed

:ROFL: yep, I caught that alien taking photos of himself and dealt with him appropriately :D

Thanks. It really sucks that I can't get it finished, or at least filled with water before I have to leave for work

looks great.. I was planning on doing something similar to this except 2 tanks on 1 stand... Do I have to build the tanks into the stand though for it to work?

I would say it would be better for you to build a seperate stand for your 2 tanks. In fact, if I ever build another tank like this I will build the tank and stand seperate.

Which is funny as hell for me to read because the Bass fisherman in Wisconsin where I grew up used to kill the carp and leave em lay on the shores. I always get a kick out of the ways different cultures view things.
