I love how one of the comments said, "thank you for not stuffing her!"

Well that comment tells us one sure thing....it wasn't jjohnwm jjohnwm that hit the bear, because that guy would have had it in the boot of his pickup in quick order, sped off home at breakneck speed and stuffed that old grizzly, lol.

dumbass? Have you ever had to dodge a large wild animal, while driving on a highway in the pitch black of the night?

" In the fatal accident, No. 399 stepped out on the road, and the driver couldn’t brake in time and struck the bear, killing her nearly immediately. While driver has received an onslaught of hate and threats online, they were driving the speed limit and weren’t under the influence—it was just an unlucky incident. "

Most sources state the same. Not drivers fault. In fact, the driver is lucky to be alive.

2+” of white wet stuff on the road this morning, and 2 mule deer decide to cross the road directly in front of my moving car. I have to watch for critters every time I start my car. Even on the street in front of our house.
A couple of recent examples, that had friends with them.

Yes, I found that out after reading more. Clearly, it wasn’t the driver’s fault. I was just so upset initially that I didn’t give it a second thought before posting, which was my bad. Unfortunately, the edit time ran out, so I couldn’t go back and correct it.
