Anubias sp. White Rose

I'd be tempted to try these emersed. Have a lovely setup going by my window:

Hows the plant doing, I just got a tissue culture and going to try to grow in my nano CRS tank
Not well. Opened up and started to grow and then it started to melt. No leaves on it. Slowly nursing it back.

Any clues to why it may have melted?

A friend here had a similar experience...

I'm thinking that these would thrive in low light with enough cleaning critters to keep algae at bay.

Not sure. Could be not enough nutrients as it was small piece. My other anubias are growing like mad. Maybe a emersed plant after all.

I kept it low light but still happened. Will see.

If you can still get some of this sp. I would be interested... Please let me know. To me it seems like anubias sp. White Alba. Someone just put a different name on it. Tho the Japanese are hybridizing species and trying to stabilize a brilliant white species. This could be one that is, of it's not then it will melt easily, it will die easily, and it needs to be in a stable, established tank to even have a chance.

Okay, not all species of anubias are low light, low maintenance.. some need co² injection.... (Actual pressurized) and huge amounts of light. As my last post stated, it's not really a stable strain. This will need high light, lots of nutrients, and high co². If it's emersed just put it on something in your tank, leave it be. It will either survive or die.
