My last vehicle was a 2000 Dodge Dakota 5.9 R/T, when the warranty was up I installed a K. Bell supercharger kit on it. I never did anything in the way of traction so it was pritty much just a whirrleygig of death. I traded it for a 2004 Mustang Mach 1 which is still stock except for exhaust. I'm looking awful hard at that 07 Shelby GT 500 beast. May have to trade again.
It's not set up to transfer wieght like a drag car. Similar V6 Mustang motor set ups are running low 10s....two in the 9s with the right suspension. I've got 1100 lb/in springs in the front and 750 lb/in in the rear with all the other suspension mods to match. Hard as a rock. Great for open road courses and auto cross. Poor on the street, worse on a strip.
you forgot about the mitsu starion. i had one. probably my favorite car. 2.6 liter. big old turbo. front mount intercooler. 5spd rear wheel drive. definately my favorite japanese caras far as japanese cars I am a big fan of subaru and mazda.....nothing cooler than a 13b rotary with a huge turbo (except the massive lag sucks), well maybe a 20b with a huge turbo would be better
