I surely don't trust Vince farther than the Ultimate Warrior could throw him today... but I bet dollars to roids, that UW deserved it at some level. Just cause he died don't make him a saint.
+1..... most all of those guys were(are) shameless self promoters.. after all they aren't workin' at the soup kitchen to help society...these guys are working hard, but getting paid well,considering a lot of them are qualified to bag groceries and not much more...so cryin 'for the poor downtrodden athletes doesn't hold much water, MCMAHON is much like our local sports king of PHOENIX..JERRY COLANGELO... as long as you worship at the alter of his greatness (hulk hogan)all is well...question him or make him look bad in time of scrutiny(roids....UW)...YOU'RE SCREWED
I'm no fan of ol Vinnie Mac but Ultimate Warrior pretty much started the trend of top wrestlers walking out and going home or flat out quitting when they didn't like the way their character was being used or the amount of pay they agreed to in their contracts.
And robbed the fans in the process. I'd rather he'd had been a good soldier and did what he was told
I don't cry to hard for the fans either, they enable this trend more than anybody... I do feel bad for fans of other forms of entertainment (real sports) like baseball where the likes of BONDS , SOSA & MCGWIRE robbed the fans of MANTLE, AARON, MAYS ,WILLIAMS & RUTH... with fake #'s
No one cries over individual achievement period.....honestly, never seen it. Now we're talking crying over a scripted soap opera?
Lol, I'm just saying I was very young during UWs prime and him wrestling for a few more years would have been nice because it was an enjoyable character.

just presenting the fact that fans wanted "big"guys with muscles playing the part... well they got it...and the roid controversy & the pile of dead wrestlers at 50 ...enjoy!...I used to watch wrestling ,too ,nothing against it as entertainment ..but as they say ,you get what you deserve in the long run...welcome to the 21st century reality to the 1980's fantasy..btw if you were watching it ,yes , you enabled it ...as did I..
