Anyone successfully keeping their channa with tank mates? Anything, but not Micropeltes.
I kept a Channa Melasoma (think that’s correct) with a Poly Lap, Royal Clown Knife and a New Guinea Tiger in a 6x2x2 for a while, no aggression observed between any of them, tank was planted with bog wood and sand substrate

For a brief moment with everything
Actually, there are many Thai people I know who successfully keep their channa with tank mates for years, and those are Micropeltes. The tank mates are Hoplias Malabaricus, bunches of them. If Micropeltes is possible, any other channa is possible, but most people tend to keep their channa alone, to groom them and to get the best colour.
