Well all I can say is it has never harmed my fish or anyone I know personally that use it's fish in the least way.
API ALGAEFIX Lethargy/Death

I just tossed a full bottle today that came with a used tank I bought. I won’t use that stuff on any of my water.
Reason why; My mom was having string algae issues in her small pond. I told her to use hydrogen peroxide to kill and control it. She got impatient and decided to try this product. It killed all her goldfish and tadpoles.
I don’t trust any algae control products. I have my tanks all in my sunroom and don’t have any algae problems so no need for anything in the house. My pond got green water last spring so I upgraded my uv and was able to enjoy beautifully clear water the rest of the year. You can’t beat a uv sterilizer!
