Yes I have a Hex tank. The tank on the Left is a 60 G Hex tank that I rescued from a neighbors backyard. It was being used as a Rain catcher.

That hexa tank is real nice.. Your setup has inspired me! :) do the fish in all the three tanks have any compatibility issue? What about water changes of your setup?

Hey TheQuarterMile Thank You I am glad I have given you the Bug. ;) Compatibility issues, I have not had any problems with the fish injuring each other, they do have the occasional territorial spats but other then those they all seem to get along fine. Out of all the fish there are currently 8 fish that I look for at least once a day, My Cory, Yo-Yo Loach and 6 Juvenile Red Jeweled Cichlids. As I am typing this I believe that My Yo-Yo Loach has become a snack for one of the Bichirs. More then likely it was either My Delhezi or My Biggest Endlicheri that got hungry. I don't really blame them because the Yo-Yo Loach was really a pest to the Bichirs and teasing them and pestering them all the time. Right now all of My Bichirs have finally settled down in the 60 G Hex tank along with one of my Haps, two Cichlids, a Rhino Pleco and a few BNP's. Thankfully My Juvenile Red Jewels are staying in the 75 G tank. Some of the Bichirs do roam the tanks at night but end up back in the 60 G Hex usually by morning.
Water changes are a pain but not to bad. I just have to turn off the return pump, Aqua lifter and UV light on the Sump. Then wait for the water to settle a little then it is just like a normal syphon on a tank. I usually start on the 60 and move my way across to the 55 then to the 75. The Sump/Refugium I have a battery powered water polisher to give the Refugium substrate the once over. As I syphon the tanks one by one the water level drops evenly across all three tanks. When I am done with the syphoning and ready to add water back it doesn't matter which tank I add the water to they all raise evenly I just use the 60 Hex tank as my water level marker since it is just a smidgen lower then the other two tanks.
Well I hope that I have answered your questions. If you have any other questions feel free to ask I will be more then happy to answer. :)

Well to hear all this as a newbie is amazing.. I'm taking one step at a time. Currently learning about all the filtration systems..
How long it took you to complete this entire setup? You build it bit by bit or in one go?

Hey TheQuarterMile, don't get overwhelmed, you are doing the right thing by taking it one step at a time. Filtration is a vast subject with all of the options that you have to try and experiment with.
The length of time it took me to complete the Aqua Bridge Setup, I would have to say from Idea/Planning stage to Completion it took me 6 months.
I did this as a piece by piece project. I already had my 55 Gallon tank and then bought the 60 Gallon Hex tank from a neighbor down the street. Once I got the 60 Hex is when I started planning the setup. Once I got the 3rd tank(40 Gallon long) is when I started putting everything together.
The completion steps where the replacement of the 40 gallon long with the 75 gallon tank and the upgrade of the Sump/Refugium Intake and return.
I would have to say that the Sump/Refugium Upgrade was the final/completion step in the whole project.

Well a few bits of News regarding the Aqua Bridge Group Occupants.
It looks like the Yo-Yo Loach has become an evening snack for one of my Bichirs.
I wasn't to surprised about this because on a regular basis he would pester the Bichirs by trying to chase them.
Funny thing is I was going to try to record this behavior and that is when I figured out he was missing.
The next tenant to report on is my Corydora. I had noticed that my Cory was showing signs that he had been beaten by the Cichlids(I assume).
I moved the Cory from the 55 Gallon to the 75 Gallon thinking that he would do better with the Juvenile Red Jeweled Cichlids.
Well that thought was not correct. The Cory was even more beat up. I have now moved my Cory down into the Sump/Refugium. The other fish in the Refugium are growing out in there, 2 BNP's, 1 Senegal Bichir and 1 Purple Spotted Goby/Gudgeon(Not sure which).
Here is a short video of him in the Refugium.

I have some good news tonight. I found my Yo-Yo Loach again swimming with the Bichirs so he was just hiding from me for days. :)
