I recently used GEI 100% silicone to glue in a new front and side panels on a 170 gallon aquarium. When I filled it up I was watching the seams where I glued the glass togther, I saw the silicone start to seperate from the glass. Now im very paranoid about having this tank in my house filled with 1400 pounds of water! so im going to cut the new panels out and redo the whole prosess again! This time Im going to go all the way and buy the best and strongest glue/silicone I can use! My question is, what kind of glue/silicone should I use? I have heard recently that RTV is stronger then regular silicone. Is this true?
Thanks,
Nick
