Way to represent!! I love the Leid Jungle!!! Haven't been there in about three years though. Do they still have that asian arowana in that little pool on the jungle floor that has the walk way dividing it? I was so tempted!! ha

Definately an awesome place! If you guys ever get a chance to check it out, you have to. Its a one of a kind experience. If you don't like humidity or noise though, don't go to the Leid Jungle.

I'm from Hastings. They still have arowanas in the little pool you mention, but I don't know if it's the one you refer to. It was actually a lot less humid in the jungle and cooler as well, than it was outside yesterday.

The waterfalls and birds do add a lot of background noise, but I don't recall the howler monkeys going nuts like they do sometimes.

The new Butterfly exhibit is really cool.

I used to have a yearly pass to Henry Dorly Zoo and have been there many times. It's a really top notch zoo. Do they still have the tank with all the barramundi's in the bat cave?
