So I picked it up and now he is in my tank he looks more normal. he is still more silver and not gold like the others but the blue has left his fins. i guess it was stress colors but I am assuming that mean he is going to have nice colors when he gets older. Already looks nicer than others I have seen. He has been hiding allot so when he gets used to me I will snap some pics.
This is one of those fish just gets you excited. I am sure you all know what I mean. I cant wait to get home and see how he is doing.

I know this is offtopic but what kind of wheel gun is that in your avatar? I love revolvers. I have a S&W 686+ 3" Talo in .357, Ruger SP101 .357 4.2", Ruger sp101 .22lr 4.2", Hoping to pick up a Ruger gp100 6"
Does your convicts live with your Jag? I actually have my FM in with him now. They are a little bigger than the jag (for now) and they currently rule my tank. I figure I will have to do some rearranging when the jag starts showing aggression. Kind of hoping he ignores them though.
There's a chance he will ignore the FM.Mine ignores my Firemouth for the most part

He is in a 110 gallon tank. He has been alone in that tank almost 4 years since he was 3".
