Arowana keeps jumping

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Even if you got rid of one of them, the single one may still need a larger tank pretty soon. I know it may look like there is enough room in there but aros (imo) a very claustrophobic. I've had to upgrade a couple different aros to larger tanks and their behavior change was remarkable each time. It was as if they were different fish the way they calmed down. There is still an off chance that you still may have a very skittish aro...But unless you do something, your issue with your aros will not get better. Good luck.

thats how aros are tho they are skittish and get scared thats how mine have always been. but jardinis arnt that way its weird

Unfortunately, one jumped out at night. Its a shame, just not enough time. Ive decided to sell the other one. Anyone interested? 24 inches for 75 dollars

thats to bad man id hate to here of losses

next time get them when they are small they grow quite quik and you get to see the personalities develope.....
have a good one
also water quality would be hard to kepp even with 2 fluval fx5 with fish and a tank that size for sure besides fighting and jumping the only other cause would be water quality........

i believe the tank is too small for two...you probably don't see it but maybe one is bullying the other....try leaving on a night light that is what i did....or always try being around it so it gets use to people and won't get scare and jump....
