DE is unpreventable. But if you must, you can try, just make sure your aro doesnt swallow a ping pong ball or then you're really in trouble.

i was told the same thing when i had a silver aro a couple of years ago. I had a ping pong ball in the tank when it was 7 inches and it still ended up with DE.
DE is the main reason why i wouldnt get another silver aro, totally ruins the look of the fish.

No way it can cure its DE.

DE is unpreventable

Dropping aro in a pond will help cure its DE, nature is the best doc for DE.

supposably worked on my mates rtg... it doesnt have DE.. it started to.. but yea.. ive seen it and its perfect.. but maybe he wasnt getting DE.. who knows.. my 2 cents LOL

yeah honestly asians sometimes look like they have dropeye when kept in small tanks then when u transfer them to a larger tank..they pop it back up LOL...

how and why do aros get drop eye? none of mine ever got it, bit i never raised them to full size.

no one really knows the true explanation as to how or why the silvers are more prone to DE in a fishtank..but it is proven that the aros raised in ponds with no reflection from any sides have not gotten any form of DE. what the dimension on your aro tank?
