Thanks mate.. :) i really don't know if it would actually help with saying how much it cost me here.. it wouldn't help comparing rates from here to there though.. def don't mind sayin.. about 2500 $ USD in total.. material, labour, filters everything.. the other reason being we are in the construction industry.. so we could manage to get things at our rates and not market rates..

Ok, thank you though that gives me a good enough idea of where to ballpark it for me to do something this cool eventually. I look forward to seeing the finished result, it looks amazing so far.:D

some over hanging branches near the viewing glass will be nice , maybe the silver aro will leap up for insect meals

:) i really don't know if i want the encourage the leaping habit.. but there is this branch that we cut from a tree.. the branch has completely dried out.. we need to strip the bark and prepare it.. might hang it in the center or fix it thru the gap below the frosted pane.. cheers..

Been sometime since the paint work was done.. I wasn't too happy or sure about coating the inner walls with white cement.. some areas got too powdery.. so got the tile guys to fix the rest of the white tile in the front slope cos that area w(c)ould get the most water splashing aroud.. it looks nice..

so now.. just decided to tile it right up to top.. guess i'll have to wait until sunday to get this tiling business done.. managed to make a net though.. the frame i'd posted a pic earlier..bent a bar from one of our construction sites.. the mosquito net was 3$ and the tailor charged me like 2$.. :) looks like it will serve the purpose..

Been following this thread for a while. I love how the pond evolved/change over time. Very good work.

Please keep the updates coming!

You are so lucky you posted pics. I was logging on to demand an update. lol

That setup is looking to sweet. How about a fuller shot of all the parts.
