Put a branch from a tree we had to trim.. this has been lying out in the sun for almost a couple of months.. just peeled off the bark a couple of days back.. gonna put a couple of pothos plant in the sump and snake it up this bark.. want the pothos to act as a biological means of filtering..

I love how this tank is evolving. It is going to look awesome once matured. Are you going to put any floating plants in the sump to help as well?

Thanks mate.. ya i badly need to up my filtration.. gotta pick up some 1000 nylon pot scrubbies and dump it in the sump.. i have a feeling the natural light coming into the sump is not very adequate.. what plants could do well without much light.. floating or planted? i asked my gardener to put the pothos into the sump.. but he put a small pot and planted it.. as usual its dropping but i'm sure in a couple of days it will get better.. will post pics then.. also planning on connecting something like a filter sock to the bottom drain out (leading into sump) to catch the solids..

your idea of putting the branch and having the pathos climb it will look great in the long run and will be good for the pond. everything looks really good!!
