Kaya,

How hard is it to procure arowanas, red tail catfish, and other such oddballs in southern India? I have a friend who is building a house in Kodaikanal and he is building an outdoor pond/tank with the hopes of keeping such oddballs. He just doesn't know where to find them for sale. Thanks.

hey.. silver Aros and Jardini are pretty common.. easy to get.. rtc.. ya can get but gotta wait.. you can get anythin you want, at a price though.. i can get a decent size RTC from a farm here, also a florida gar.. BUT.. kodi.. your friend must be seriously loco.. the amount of heating he needs to spend and that too an outdoor NO Way. I have a house in kodi too and i'd say please don't try it. It gets bloody cold.. and winters are freezing. jus ask him to mail me or somethin.. cheers mate..
