but i have seen personally, a arowana jumping into the air and catching a bird still flying it was flying in a flock that was close to the water

The fact that arowanas can jump out and catch bugs off branches shows that they have good eyes.

all fish have good eyes, if not an archerfish wouldn't be able to spit.

LoL Not all fish have good eyes, the Dragonfish have very bad eyesight they are slightly blind.

Well I know some fish have great eye sight under water but to be able to focus through the surface of the water and adjust for refraction must take some very specialized vision. Dont atleast some species of archer fish have specialized parts of their eyes, part for focussing above water and part for below?
