Noice!

I had a suspition you kept reptiles when yu commented on my avatar in the lounge.

bredlis are nice snakes. I haven't kept any reptiles before other than the occasional skink, gecko or legless lizard, so just gonna try the woma at first.

I wanna keep a yellow face whippy too.

Yer snakes are good as pets, but they cost alot and need the right heat/enclosure.

There just like fish really, keep them in a tank/terrarium, look at them, feed them, but you can pick snakes up and stick them in your shirt lol.

And you can make jokes like " Hey you wanna come see my snake" to lady friends. :D :D

Heres my lil guy, got him 6 months ago and he's just under a metre.

Nice Cammo.

I'm assuming you got him through your work aswell? He's deffo a beaut.

Have you been tagged by him yet? :grinno:

Nah i got him off a private seller, Petshops are only aloud 3 species of snake, Childreni, Spotted and Stimpson's, all these are classed as children's pythons. They were origonally thought that all three snakes were the same species with different patterns, but scientists revealed that they are actually 3 seperate species.

Anyway, i have been tagged by him many times, he has even engulfed my finger before and i couldnt stop him, so under the tap he went. I just fed him 3 hopper mice and i tell ya he cant aim for **** lol, 2/3 mice were struck on the side and then ended up going in sideways, one he squeezed so hard blood came out its nose.

His name is Bender :D

Ah, okay. I wondered why I never see any other species of snake lol.

I heard womas can be a little cage protective and aggresive feeders, so i'll be feeding with tongs until I am more confident :p

I had a bandy bandy snake for about 2 days. Some bloke at work found him, I said I'd take him to the scrub near my place and release him. lol. I kept him for 2 days, until I said I'd release him (I was gonna release him eventually, I just wanted to look at him some more) if I was alowed to buy a kelpie and keep it at home(mums terrified of snakes). Worked a charm.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my Barras, because I can't afford to upgrade to a bigger tank atm, like I was planning to. If I do, I'll move the Murray Cod to their tank.
