Cod hate eels they are the main predator of their eggs I think the eel would get hammered .
Might be interesting though.

Yeah the pond has been sectioned off at the moment just until the new pond is built, so they wouldn't be able to go near each other.

You mentioned free to a new home? which fish were you talking about?

I know I sure as hell wouldn't qualify, but i'm curious as to what these conditions are.

Adding some cichlids to the pond next week hopefully.

4 Snooks (petenia splendia)
and 3 convicts

I'll let them grow big over the summer then chuck them in the new 8x3x2

Snooks are awesome as. I got myself two. They are by far the best fish I have EVER kept.

Yeah they are awesome once full grown.
I saw an adult a few weeks back in the flesh and wanted it so bad, instead I bought 5 juvies and one disappeared.

Lol, i have spaces for all of them, my planted tank is now complete. Although it was supposed to be non native but now its fully native bsides Bn's, lol. So im not getting any leaf fish anymore , they are cool!.

I cant help but get native fish! Im obsessed.
