Cichla aren't really expensive.

Yeah, they are more expensive than more aussie natives, but god damn they rule. There will be some tem babies getting around in sydney soon, pre cheap too. I'll let you know when they are ready.

I bought the monos 2 for $30 5cm from exotic fish connections at rocklea 3 years ago. I agree Temensis are a nice looking fish. Caught some wild occelaris I think thats how you spell it in Boca Raton in Florida fight hard jump as well.
