You can catch shovelnose lots of places the beach at bribie island and around into the passage probably the best but they turn up every where usuully big though 1 to maybe 2 meters

smallest one i have ever seen about 60cm
Smallest Shovel i ever seen was about 60cm also, i no where to catch em non stop, same with sand rays.
i used to fishing just for rays lol me and a mate caught 4 sand rays each, 3 had a diameter of 1m the others 90cm. We also caught 2 Shovels each all same size 80cm, in only 2 hrs. So much fun lol.
But this weekend im going to noosa for 4 days camping/fishing!!!!. I got a special lil spot in the bush
. I picked up a new 6"8 raider with 2000 Symetre yesterday for flickin, should be shweeeeet.
