So smaller works better ya reckon, that would explain alot seeing as I have only ever caught adult ones.
There is a spot near me where I can see heaps of juveniles but its all rocky and full of snags so I cant use my cast net there.

I'm gonna try and collect some silver scats, monos and crescent perch tomorrow.

Keeping them when small they are fine, but adult ones are a bit crazy.
All I'm saying is the coalies i have kept were alot worse then the spangleds i have kept.

But I spose everyone has a different experience when it comes to fish

Cha, new 7x3x2.5 is in the lounge! Just need to dress the stand and build it back to the wall. Gars moved in yesterday from their old digs and immediately put a dent in the rainbow population.

That's awesome masone, how much that tank put ya back?

Also guys/gals, I'm building a new pond, its gonna be around 5000-6000 gal and plan on stocking it with bass, yellas, Spanglies, tandanus, 1 x barra and anything else that will survive thats not too big.

Thinkin about hiring a digger though, cause after digging the first one by shovel im pretty much over digging haha.
