I have a Salmon tail cat that is exactly 1 year and 3 months old and he is only 9" max. Is this normal? because I have heard from some that they grow fast.

I've been reading the entire thread over the last 2 days and i'm impressed that there is so many aussie native keepers out there. I'm about to begin stocking some natives but i'm not sure where or how to start. I've got a 300 gallon tank as per my sig and a spare 6 x 2 x 2 that i'd love to stock. Must have jungle perch and i'm looking at a grunter of some sort (coal, butlers, banded) Would love to hear any suggestions from you guys/gals. Dave
