I haven't kept one personally, but a friend of mine has one in a 5' that is about 40cm. It's in with two oscars I think, and it hardly moves from it's hollow. It's not aggressive at all either. She just feeds it meat.

I used to own them, I like them once they get to a nice size, when they are little they run around like madmen, mine were really skittish.

I'm going to sommerset dam on the school holidays for a 4 day camping trip. What can I expect to catch there? I heard that saratoga haunt it, and I wanna try and catch one, and if it's small enough, keep it. Whos been fishing for toga, whats the best way?

Saratoga's are there, same with bass, golden spangled and silver perch, tandanus tandanus (eeltail cats) and mary river cod apparently

if you catch a mary river cod and are naughty enough to keep it( lol ) I will buy it off you
