Automatic Water Changer

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'll looking at doing a drip system for 7 of my other tanks. I think I can do one for 4 tanks and another of 3. that would live only my smallest tanks to do manually which isn't too bad. Water changes suck!

I didn't know about drip systems when I did this setup or probably would have gone that route. It is nice when I need to drain the tank. That's come in handy when I've had to chase down fish to get them out.

I can't clean that tank in 20 minutes and because of the stock it needs it twice a week. Add 15 more tanks into the mix and you're talking hours and hours every week on maintenance.

HAHA...for some reason I was under the impression that you started the wc one of the times that you walked in the back room. Also seeing the step by step and all of the specs of the system laid out really reveal all of the technicalities of the system. Either way, I was pretty overwhelmed by all of the tanks with awesome fish in them :D

total chance you were there at 1am when it runs. I'm upping it to 3 times a week now to handle the load as the fish get bigger.

Updated full tank shots? How is the algea in your tank? Close ups on the size of your oscars? I watched your thread from day 1 and loved it BTW, hats off to you on a job well done!
