Any tips on how to care for these guys just got my first one any info for tank size,growth rate, and diet would be great

Always great to get a fish FIRST and after that asking about tank size etc.
Makes totaly sense…
I always buy cars and after I got them I inform myself what fuel they need etc.
300 gal tank minimum
soft lowish pH water 7 or below
lots of water changes, keeping nitrate at 5ppm or below

They grow like most of the larger pbass but not as fast as temps they should be growing about 1- 1 1/5 inches per month . Mine took pellets pretty easily. And mine like all kinds of food ( really like to eat )
Stay away from live foods . I prefer frozen fish over fresh. ( Parasites) mine swim more than my other bass so you might take that into account on tank size . All bass do better in odd # more than 3 at least . 5 seems to be a magic #. You need too start looking up fish and do some research on them be for you buy. Not griping at you just some corrective advise . Better for you and the fish. Good pellets and fish and shrimp are not cheap.. and it takes time and space for large fish.. good luck. That being said it's nice to see new people here.
