They grow like most of the larger pbass but not as fast as temps they should be growing about 1- 1 1/5 inches per month . Mine took pellets pretty easily. And mine like all kinds of food ( really like to eat )
Stay away from live foods . I prefer frozen fish over fresh. ( Parasites) mine swim more than my other bass so you might take that into account on tank size . All bass do better in odd # more than 3 at least . 5 seems to be a magic #. You need too start looking up fish and do some research on them be for you buy. Not griping at you just some corrective advise . Better for you and the fish. Good pellets and fish and shrimp are not cheap.. and it takes time and space for large fish.. good luck.
