Baby Black arowana care?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you use a sponge filter or canister filter it shouldn't be a problem. If you have to use a HOB then just make sure part of the tank is calm.

It is a good price but only you can decide if it is worth it. Cost of ownership when it gets big can be rather expensive.

HOB filter is fine, I kept a couple smaller sized same as yours with a hob and they usually swim on the other side of the tank where there is no current. Mine ate after a couple minutes being in the tank. Hikari Carnisticks crushed with my fingers is what I fed. And at 60$ that's a really good price, the cheapest ive seen is 80 and most the venders online or local is around 100-125$.

Unprepared fish keepers. Almost all aros problems are from them. As Brian said keep it alone until larger. If you can't do that as you said you can't then don't get it. If you can have it alone and follow the care guidelines then at any price you feel is in what you willing to pay then it is worth it.
