Alrighty - dude is acting much better with the new additions. I think he may have somehow got his head burned behind the heater smh...

3 Azul's and another Intermedia who...what do ya know, also isn't into pellets. I think they were eating little gobies. Now they can be friends and not eat together!... They should learn quick I hope, the Azul's destroy anything that touches the water.

(Opinions welcome - should I like just offer pellets only till they figure it out or keep hooking them up with shrimp every couple days?)

Also added two Blue Mahseers lmao, better start prepping my next tank bahh. To be fair I only ordered one but the dope people at predatory fins hooked me up! Hope to snag some pics tonight.

I’d suggest this method to get them eating pellets.

After the introduction of the Azuls (who are just nuts by the way) we now have started the pecking order process lol. Whose in charge here? Big intermedia still the king. Hes a little nastier now. The two others are still only eating shrimp but way less sketchy and more active. Joining in on the fighting. Going to the LFS later for a micro tank im going, if they have any bass there im in trouble haha

I cannot get any good pictures to share, they don't quit moving and there in a 180 right now so tough. Will get a video this weekend hopefully. Wish we had more cichla people on here. the good ole days.

Video - Pause - Screen Shot = Pictures lol. A little trick i use when trying to get pictures. As far as pellets go, I dont feed any of my bass pellets much anymore. I prefer fresh/frozen foods. I seen much better colors (colors is also genetic) and growth. Also less waste and cleaner water.
