haha my muscles are ALMOST that big! this lady could probably lift it by herself lol. But the tank was surprisingly not that heavy. granted, we did use dollies and suction cups which helped tremendously! Thanks for all the great comments guys! We will surely keep you updated on this project :headbang2

Time for an update. Although not a big one. I finsihed taping it and got it set up to paint. Definitely make sure you get all the goo gone off the tank before starting.

I went to lowes and bought one quart of valspar latex enamel flat black paint. We didnt have a roller so SHE brushed it on. The trick is to brush it on one way, let it dry and then follow it up by going perpendicular to what you just painted.


All done and flipped back over.

Now i gotta wipe it down again, borrow a buffer/polisher, and really take a look at the sump and figure out the layout on how i want that setup.

Wow that tank turned out to be a beauty with the work you put into it. Cant believe you and your gf took on that mission. But i guess it was well worth the trip. I can wait to see the tank up and running.
