I had a Bagarius bagarius, it died from my tank overheating a week or so ago though.

No, its alone in a 90g with lots of current and kept at 70*. They are cooler water fish which do best in 65-74*. The 900 is normally at 82-84*, which is too warm for this fish. I believe Dieselmack's Bagarius cats stopped eating when he raised the temp to 75*.
 
An honor to be able to see some of this stuff available so long ago.

Most of us now have just recently learned of these creatures.

I know it's old, but I've never seen them and they're great pics I'm sure some others may enjoy..... Thank you for the blast from the past Tigerfangs.
 
quality fish only ever seen one in UK at lfs but it was 12" and I couldn't afford it :'(
I'll get one some day never give up the quest !
