I have a few questions about the bamboo shrimp I got today. Can they be bred? And also Its about 2 inches right now how long until it reaches full size and how big is full size.

I don't know of anyone being successful breeding them. They grow quickly. They need a high flow tank in order to filter feed successfully. Not sure how long it takes for them to reach full size, I guess it would depend on tank temp, how well they are eating, and how frequently they molt. Hope this helps.

In my experience the females berry up easily, but raising the young shrimp is hard. They need brackish water as babies, sorta like Amano shrimp.

Because they require brackish water, it is nearly impossible to breed.

they need brackesh water for the eggs to hatch. mine are about 3" and adults, bith fems, males front legs are a lot larger than the females.
