They look cool but you will probably never see them if you have sand. I used to see just the tips of the tail or their eyes when I had two in my 10g. Very inactive until nighttime. Then you will see them swim if you have nightlights. I fed mine hikari carnivore pellets and they did well on that.

I've got 5 in my busy community setup and they seem to do b doing fine even tho they share the floor with 4 polkadot loach an a few other catfish they're thriving they actually willfully move they lazy arses 4 tubifex so maybe leav sum near.

An my plec seems 2 hav a habit of mistakin them 4 algae wafers an givin em a suck lol
