I'm pretty sure he's just a regular green sev, but I could be mistaken. He's my love haha...I have a red one as well.

these are one of my favorites, i got two from rapps a few years back and lost my last one two summers ago, really cool fish.
mine did well with severums, sveni pikes, a mayan, young cichla, GT, and blue acara. they were not really aggressive with tankmates except for with members of their own species. mine weren't picky with food or water chemistry (i kept them at a neutral ph and about 78-80 degrees)
if you have the room i would highly reccomend getting one

Everyone has a different experience, I kept Caquetaia myersi and mine were terrible.. I kept two and they were frustratingly aggressive to everything in the tank. At 4" would go after a 9" h. psittacus and tear at her fins constantly. Unless kept in a species only tank, I would not try them again. Just my .02 cents.

mine was in a 10g from 1"-~2", then into a 45 gallon until almost 4", which is when the filter died while i was on vacation, not a fun thing to come home too

I've had Myersi that were mean and others that were like angel fish! They do get decent sized though, I believe 12 +". I've had them as big as 9" before. They are rough on each other though. Cool looking fish, especially at over 6". If I saw them at the lfs I'd be all over it if the price is good.

The 125 gallon. I guess I just had negative luck of the draw you can get with any cichlid. FYI after one finally killed the other, I took it to the LFS. That single fish was brought back 3 times (including me) and Cayes would not take it back from the last person she sold it to. She still gives me crap when I go in there.
