Hey guys my friend just got a few batrochoglanis raninus and wants to give me 2 of them. I don't really much about this species and i have few questions.

1. How long could a pair live in a 36 gallon
2. Are they compatible with bichirs and oscars
3.max size
4.diet
5.temperament

Thanks in advance

Pretty typical of bumblebee cats. Will eat pretty much anything meaty, including pellets. Don’t eat as much as you would expect but that is mainly due to their lack of activity too. Will eat smaller fish. Whilst their size is listed as around eight inch I have not come across one bigger than 6 yet. They tend not to get on with each other but don’t go looking for trouble. If they have a cave that’s theirs you could keep two in a 36 for quite a while but I would be looking at something bigger for life.
Larger ones would live with Oscar’s and depending on the birchir type they should be fine. Just not with any of your real bigger types.
A chilled cat that you won’t see out and about in daytime, but which is more than happy to disappear all your neons during the night.

I will make sure to have a lot of pvc pipes for the Batrochoglanis raninus

Hey guys, I plan on buying 2 batrochoglanis raninus (1 downstairs for my 75 and one upstairs for my 40 gallon) what fish could I keep with the raninus upstairs? Any info is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
