Black will hold the heat best and save you some money on the electric bill.

Hey guys, I painted black laminate flooring sounds interesting, have a feeling tiles with would do better. Thanks for all the input everyone

Hey forgot to mention, I painted the back of the tank how long should I let it cure? I painted the back about 24 hours ago, thought I heard something that letting the paint dry for a day and you should be good to go (I only painted the outside of the cage) However I moved it up stairs in the lizard room and notice when you get close to the tank you still kinda of smell it. assume I shouldn't put them in there yet, I leave for work in 2 hours wanted to set it up now, but I don't mind waiting till I get home 11pm, than I will see how it smells in the mean time I'll keep the room door open since the tank is in there now waiting to be transferred over lol

just follow your nose and let common sense guide you

my leopard gecko tank is all lighter tan ceramic tile with a burnt sienna painted background. Gives it a very clean look while maintaining a desert feel to it

Hmm I will look into that color possibly for my dragon, as for the ackie I went black and it looks good. I like it. thanks guys!
