Hello! I currently own two Toadfish, both of which are different species. I own 1x Orange Gulf Toadfish and 1x “Freshwater” Toadfish, and they both live in the same saltwater tank. I’ve been starting to wonder what’s the best thing to feed them. My Orange Gulf Toadfish will eat about anything, from Feeder Fish, Pellets, Wafers, Red Worms, Frozen Krill, Frozen Shrimp, and a variety of other frozen and other foods. My “Freshwater” Toadfish mainly prefers to eat Feeder Fish, Red Worms, and other live foods, but occasionally takes frozen and maybe dry foods. Also the Feeder Fish are typically Rosy Reds, but recently I’ve been feeding them little Sunfish, Darters, and Minnows and stuff that I catch locally to save money as I’m only 14. Anyways, I was curious what the best nutritional food is that I can feed these Toadfish. I wish that actual live saltwater feeders like silversides and stuff were available instead of mollies. Also will freshwater feeders still give a good enough nutritional value for these guys? Any info is appreciated.
