Best monster fish?

A lot depends on your intention for this aquarium. Do you have scientific interests, financial desires (to breed and sell) or do you just want a hobby? . . . to impress your friends with big fish?

Any gar fish is a very very impressive fish. They grow huge, they can eat enormous things, they are very hard to kill and live a long time. Appearance is unlike any other fish so they are unmistakable.

Unfortunately they are also extremely strong and can smash the lid right off an Aquarium, or jump 3 feet out of the water, and right over the side of an open tank.

If you can keep one, people's Jaws will drop when they see it eat.
I want fish that look cool and grow large and could attract lot of subscribers for my channel.im also trying to breed lot of fish i have and I could spend money to breed something and hoping to regain that by selling it,by the way i have a couple of alligator gars, could u suggest any different choices please

There's no straight forward answer for this.

As what fish, people might like, that would get you more subscriptions on your YouTube channel.

In India we have a lot of great indigenous monsters that could be housed in a big tank.

To list a few,
Mahseer species
(Tor putitora, tor tor, tor malabaricus, tor ramadevii)
Large growing channas
(Leucopunctata, marulius, pseudomarulius, diplogramma, striata)
Large predatory catfish
(Bagarius species, wallago attu)

You will have to build your tank around what kind of fish you want, what are your available choices, and what kind of tank and decor you like.

My advice is build what you like and share.

ya they look cool, where can i get em,im from tamil nadu

I would suggest a variety of large active fish. That way you are not limited to viewers who care about just one species. Headbanger gave good advice. Consider having more than one tank so you can show people more species maybe of different sized fish. I have several fish from India but none get too big.

My aquarium is 11x6x5ft and I could expand my aquarium even in the future,i have 5 years of decent experience in this hobby and temp in india is about 30-32c and some times even less and we get soft water and even hard water, say fishes atleast that grows 5ft+
If your tank is only 5ft wide, you should prolly get fish that top out at like 3-4ft tops. A fish the size of your tank doesnt make much sense. But I say Peacock bass are fun.
