This seems to muddle up the discussion. I think what Jibran, other peers, and I keep in mind is your 2,500 gal and the final 12,000 gal home for the fish. Have we been wrong? Are these going to be installed in an air-conditioned area?

Yeah I don’t know. Erode in Tamil Nadu is showing 85• F at 2am and it is only the beginning of the summer there (April and May being the hottest months). While a “cold room” is possible, am not thinking it would be the wisest plan to keep given the consistency of electrical failure in large metropolitan areas of India let alone the boonies.
Blue catfish, if you feed a high protein diet they can get huge, no pellets if you want the giant fish, feed them fish and prawns etc
I’ve given it a genarator so no chance of power cut in the fish room
Only mid April to mid may will be hot on general ,after mid may, it will rain here and weather will be very cold especially in night
Yep there is air conditioning, if it’s required ill on it but if the fish doesn’t require it i won’t however the room was built 110 years back so the material used in the buid makes the room really cool too
Im feeding my fish with tat only however here in india I don’t see wels catfish, blue catfish ans so but in one area I heard we could catch wallago attu so thinking of that
Not wrong , the 12000 might be in hotter place than tis but no very hot however should be careful
You guys are completely missing that i never suggested a pike, i suggested a muskie or tiger muskie. The esox species are the most sensitive to heat of the species i listed but they are much less sensitive than people believe.

Well I guess I was responding to the idea that you are cooler where you are. According to my phone”s live temperature maps Erode is actually hotter than Chennai or Delhi right now (97• F compared with o 93 and 95•F at mid day). It’s hot man! and getting hotter in the coming weeks as you point out. You might want to stick to the indigenous species. In any case, I”m looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
