Are the fish in Washington Teds? The fellow from AnythingFishcom with the 8,000 gallon outdoor tank?

p.s. I LOVE YOUR TANKS, I CAN ONLY HOPE TO BE LIKE YOU SOMEDAY :)
all i can do is show effort to build what i want at this point, and as were doing this fish move we are also in the middle of building a 3500 gallon tAnk in the fish room, that is why i put up for sale the 3 300 gallon tanks on mfk so i can have the room that they take up :) , ive been stockpiling my building supplies outside the garage and now were just waiting on the room :) and getting ready for winter, my 46" pima is in a heated pond and id like to change that before winter hits, it gets cold up here in ohio, wish i was in florida :)

Good luck on the trip.

well becuase she is a woman who knows how to please her man, :) "help him with his fish obssesion or commit him", and i guess she's not ready to commit me yet :)

Wow you have a great set up. To bad I can't make it to the OCA this year or I would have visited you also when I was in Ohio.

Love your Arapaima arapaima (I assume) and your great collection of big tanks. How old is your pima and what size was it when you bought it?

Ted has great ideas when building monster tanks so check him out if you can.

hello, wow you honer me, im not worthy, i have been watching and dreaming ever since i ran across your 50,000 gallon tank and for you to coment on my measly lil tanks just floors me,
and of course if your ever close, just call and stop by, anytime, your always welcome.
as far as the pima , i got him a year and a half ago off of a mfker named mdole, around 38" for 200 dollars, he had him in a swimming pool with about 25 rays, he had to get rid of him because he was just vacuming up any babies that the rays had,
hes grown almost a foot since i got him, we call him big bubba, hes probably about 48-52" now, its hard to see and measure, hes in a heated pond i made out of my dads cow pasture pond, its more of a hole in the ground that i throw money in, but it serves its purpose untill i finish my tank here at my house, based on teds 8000 gallon, i would love to do what you did on a lil smaller scale, but because of the limited space i decided to do one like teds,
thanks

ok everyone here goes a update on our progress
we have the pond built for the trip and today after work we cleaned the cab of the truck to get it ready for the trip, we fixed the 1 window that would not roll down, and we replaced 1 tire that was low on tread, ive got the filtration built for the pond and is up and running on a differnt tank to keep the bacteria alive,
this is our list we have to do before this friday to leave, if i cant finish all this we will leave next friday
eres the list of stuff that I still have to do
oil change,
run wires from the battery to the box of the truck for the inverter
get people over here and get the pond up into the truck,
screw some 2 x 4's into the floor around the pond to keep it from moving
get a second spare tire for the trip
load up all tools needed for any emergency
do the math and so on for gas expenses and stopovers if any
get gps, portable dvd player and ect for trip into truck
make the cover for pond which will also double as a bed for the people driving
install the filtration system to the pond
right before leaving put 100 gallons or so in the pond so that the filtration system will stay running and not dry for 2-3 days drive
and then anything else I am not thinking of
ill keep you all updated and add pics as soon as posible

Your the MAN Rich! You accomplish in a week what I can only dream of doing in months.
I should be able to come over Thursday morning to lend a hand.

Very nice.

Are you gonna snag some nice niger's koop?

^^ I've got dibs on one niger and a RTCXTSN. I've got to hook up my second FX5 onto my 300 this weekend. I wouldn't mind one more but I'm not sure how well that will work out so I'm getting two.

I hope they make the trip ok. That's a hell of a drive.
