the sales peeps at big al's know their stuff too bad its 45 min to hour drive for me(across the city), their stuff seems cheap but if i wait long enough, the items i need comes to clearance at petsmart (5 mins from my house) lol and i just get there

If you pay over a certain amount big al's shipping is free, that's the catch. But Im always ordering from big al's, they have a huge variety of foods.

Big Als is good for a lot of stuff, just got 2 Biowheel 350s for $30 after the mail in rebates..

Product selection can't be beat online. Petsmart is good for NEW fish tanks. Some things are priced about equivalent to the online stuff so I just buy it from Petsmart.

The only down side to big al's is you cant pay for faster shipping, inless i've missed that option somewhere. Probably saved twice as much as ive spent there though.

Plus the name big al's cracks me up for some reason.

BigAl's blows Petsmart out of the water. Al's 8.8 oz of floating carnivorous food sticks was 12.99 and even with shipping was under the 22 bucks my LFS was charging. I couldn't even find the food sticks on petsmart...
