The replanted black ear shark catfish has grown 1"-2" and done well in the 1800 gal for the first month or so:

After some significant reshuffle the smaller / slower-growing black ear goes from 240 to 1800 gal:
8 inch black ear catfish: 2nd blister snip, upgrade, no more nose rubbing in 1800gal, prior vid clip

After 7 years of timidness and shyness, the black ear really surprised me by beginning to act territorially aggressive!
