Black "Silver" Arowana

That black aro looks like the O.Ferrerai (no such thing as black silver) its either black or silver. Normal blacks have the characteristic black stripe when young, this dissapears as fish gets older- the babies are ferrerai young. One thing I must say though, normal blacks do not dispaly vivid black colouration but this one does.
 
I still maintain they are O.Ferrerai because the babies look like ferrerai young with characteristic black stripe,

Juvenile Silver arowanas that are young enough have black stripes too. But if you look carefully, none of the fins are black. Juvenile blacks, on the otherhand, have fins that are completely black.

impossible because these are the offspring of that "black silver" arowana, and a regular silver arowana. so it must be a melanistic silver arowana otherwise they couldnt breed
