Thanks everyone! Really appreciate the feedback and the help. All polys are healed up. It's crazy how fast their skin regenerates.

Still going to check the water report and post it on here though. Would it be better to check the water report for my house or what the regional utilities/water company has on their website?

Better for regional or the county report.

everyone has been doing well and not bleeding.

As promised, here are the 2017 Water Quality reports listed on the Utility Website. 2018 reports were not available.

"groundwater is harder due to dissolved minerals (about 140 mg/L as CaCO3, or 8 grains).
Hardness: Approximately 140 mg/L as CaCO3 (8.2 grains/gal)

  • pH: 8.6
  • Sulfate: 97.4 mg/L
  • Chloride: 26.3 mg/L
  • Ammonia: 0.24 mg/L"

Any additional instructions would be appreciated. Thank you

So I was changing the tank water and 5 mins later this happened. Not sure if he banged the tank lid or not…so I think it might be a water quality/chlorine issue. This is the first time it’s happened since the original post. I noticed it looks almost identical. After I saw him bleeding, I added in a little more prime than usual to possibly help with extra chlorine or ammonia. All other fish appear normal.

All finlets are bloody at the base and the the top 1/3 of his tail is bloody. If it is water quality/ sensitive albino like J jaws7777 and @J.H. mentioned, any ideas on how to prevent this in the future? All of the other fish are normal with no bleeding. Albino is behaving normally, bright, and alert.

How do I better mix the prime with the new water? Id prefer not to do 5g buckets at a time. What I have been doing is adding it to the tank as I add ground water. Open to new ideas or suggestions. Thank you! 9823E4AF-3A14-4F4E-882F-48841201DF6E.jpeg230DBBFF-30B2-4717-AD79-97CF4691DD2F.jpeg0CB879BE-B93B-4DAC-8BAE-B858DD7D2F1A.jpegDC8C94F6-1C05-43DF-912F-1B9361216803.jpeg

I don't know if this helps, but one of my Dels had the same, but not in correlation with a waterchange.
She wasn't eating for days and died two days later.

I don't know if it's the same thing here... i don't think so, but i wanted to mention it, because this is the first time i see this bloody finlets somewhere else.
