I have had this bonnethead shark for a little over 2 months. Currently the shark is around 14". He has been feeding on squid and shrimp and has been eating around quarter lbs of food every 3 days. The shark is in a 3000 gallon aquarium that is around 14' long. Shipping will be done in a 48" x 40" x 24" box. With close to 30 gallons of water. Due to the weight of this package. I am only able to ship air port to air port. In general shipping cost will run around $250-$300 plus a $100 box charge. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping cost. I am also willing to deliver the shark within 200 miles of the area code 43506. For a small fee ($1.00 per mile). You are also welcome to come and pick up the shark. I also guarantee live arrival. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at alligatorkid@aol.com .

I am only willing to sell this shark to an experienced aquarist . With a 2000 gallon or larger aquarium.

Holy smokes. Thats pretty hardcore man. If i had a 3000 gallon tank and lived near your i would mos def buy it. Good luck with the sale

I do have a question.

First off - why are you saleing it. I mean - you have a 3,000 gallons system to hold it in - which should be just fine - for a few years at least.

Plus from the photo - it's not the only Bonnethead in the tank.

You seem to have a beautiful, and healthy shark on your hands - why get rid of it?

Yes, this is the question to be asked. Why sell it? Is it fighting with your outher sharks? Do you have all females and 2 males and now you have to get rid of a male?

why not sell it?

besides unless you are really actually considering buying it, he might not want you all up in his business...

not trying to flame you guys but being that this is his first post, questioning him isnt exactly a nice welcome...

I dont know where you come from buddy but the question we asked is commonly asked to people who sell anything no matter if it's a T.V, Car, or Shark. The question was asked out of couriosity and not ignorence. If thats the case then maybe we don't like you asking "Why not sell it".

Sorry for jacking this thread. I just don't like people jerking my chain. :irked:

Damn! Everyone duck in here! I think i hear gunfire! haha :WHOA:

I do agree with the people who ask smart questions! Its not a matter of ignorance, but a matter of curiosity. If i was thinking about buying a shark such as a bonnethead from a private individual, I would ask him EVERY single detail about the animal. From how many times a week does it sh*t to how does it act with other tankmates! U may think im :screwy: but those are things to determine the health and stability of the animal!
