Bought this guy yesterday .Help needed to find his ID

Update...pics taken without light still he is fading .Kok shrunk little bit and coming back.He is active. This is a male right? Since I have a small doubt whether it falls under female.post your opinion on his development.

I’d be doubtful it’s a female. Likely is a male. Looking at his vent you should be able to tell. You don’t always even have to remove the fish too see clearly enough.

Yea will do.just from that black mark on the top fin I guessed it might be a female

I just provide him few minutes of mirror excercise and can you let me know what colour lighting would be better for the faders?Since I fixed a white coloured one.
