Bought very injured pleco, need advice

I have enjoyed reading the very off topic convo. I needed a good laugh.Aaah! Thanks, but...I don't get it. What have "alpha male" tendencies got to do with political correctness or wokeness or anything else that I was ridiculing?
I was being sarcastic about all that New Age stuff...but now I'm just confused.
Of course, that's par for the course for me...just another day in the world of Antisocial Media.
Just realized that we've veered way off course for this thread; it's not in off-topics. Apologies to the OP.
In an on topic matter the fish I got last week is still alive and has a voracious appetite. I have included pics I took today. The eyes or um… eye holes look a little gross but not infected gross. I think they are healing pretty well all things considered.
I think it’s doing ok. It’s eating very well and seems to be healing. I posted updated pics.
To be honest, I wouldn’t have picked that fish so I’m always amazed when folks do something like that out of the kindness of their hearts. Glad it’s under your care and good on you for being a kind person
