Mine grew up to 18" more or less notably, agreed, but the rate as of the last 1.5 years seems to have stalled. It may be 20"-22" now, hard to gauge properly plus they always seem smaller in a tank. All in all, it seems to me only the true piraiba is a solid grower throughout the years among the Brachies because of course it attains 12' haha. The rest seem to slow down greatly after the initial growth - capa, tig, jur, maybe platynema too, dorado seems to never grow fast at any age.
